Thinking about going from cruiser to sport touring?
I'm 17 I've been riding for 4 years I have owned 2 bikes a nighthawk 250 and I currently own a vstar I have ridden many bikes before though ( such as harley Deuce, heritage softail, sportster 883, and a Suzuki GS500f and a few more) I'm more of a cruiser guy but lately I've been looking at a vfr 800, I like it because of how it looks. I'm not a big speed demon though. I want a bike that's pretty, comfortable, and handles well I got an insurance quote from progressive and they said insurance would be $70 bucks a month. Would an Interceptor be a good bike for me?
It's really a nice bike. I have an ST1100, very similar engine, just a little bigger. The water cooled V4 is really a wonderful engine, it's very smooth and has a wide powerband. The VFR is called 'the bike that does everything well'. Plus my ST1100 is the most trouble-free bike I've ever owned.
