Is It Time To Redefine Your Brand Design?
Selling your product or services without a brand design of any sort can be so devastating. If I were the product, I would be so ashamed and feel so terrible because it's like I am going to the market naked and displayed on the shelf without an identity that I can be proud of, an identity of my own. Or, I may not be naked, but somehow improperly dressed because of a design that is inappropriate to my nature or a design that is old fashioned and out of date, so no one knows me, no one likes me, and no one picks me up. Whether you admit it or not, this can be the picture of your brand; unnoticed, not making any difference, no one gets it from the shelf because no one has the interest. How sad.
Making a brand design for your product or services or giving a new or different definition to one that has been used for years may be what you exactly need for the solution of the problem that has been bugging you for long. Come to think of it, just like we need to change outfits from time to time, and that there are different dress codes for every occasion, our brand, products, or services also need updating and upgrading every now and then so they can be appropriate and in line with the present needs and wants of the buying public. We need to do some creating or remaking so that our brand will not be out of place in the market. Instead, it will have a very spectacular display in the heart of our prospects and regular users because it meets their needs.
There are different areas in which we need to do either some creating or redesigning of our brand design. The areas of concern can be the external and internal aspects of it. The external facet of our brand includes our logo, labeling, packaging, marketing, customer relations, and other external details. On the other hand, the internal features that may require some revisions include the quality of our product or services by which people have known us, the secret formulation that composes our product and makes it unique from those existing in the market, and other internal components.
As business people who are called experts in the field of marketing, we need to exercise some discernments and be sensitive enough to the changing trends, needs, and attitudes of the buying public.
With the introduction of high technology and other forms of advancements, people's attitudes and preferences have also been affected. Now consumers tend to look for more and more of what is new and high tech. They are excited to see and taste something that has not been there yet. They want to try new and exciting ways. We cannot go against these. So we better go and redefine our direction so we cannot loose their trust and confidence. Knowing the right time to change course is also crucial to creating or giving your brand design a new look and feel.

Redefining Spirituality
I have always felt that spirituality is spoken (actually meant to!) in the same breath as religion.
When we say a country a person sect etc. etc. is spiritual, what we actually mean is that the country or person or sect etc. is deeply religious!?
While it is quite natural to assume that a spiritual ‘aspect’ is closely linked with GOODNESS (read GODLINESS) and it is true as well it might be too far fetched to assume that an ‘aspect’ that is religious would be spiritual.
Then what is spiritual(ity) ?
There are many established definitions and I would leave that to the readers imagination/scholarship.
But I would like to redefine SPIRITUALITY as :
A LOVE AND RESPECT FOR LIFE, An unflinching FAITH in the universal code and an awe for the creation and passion/honesty in one’s work.
Lets see how you feel about this.
Whatever but one thing is most certain SPIRITUALITY IS NOT RELIGION !!!
While we are talking of need for redefining spirituality, I would like to present my take on a common man’s view on spirituality.
A take on every day spirituality from a 'non-spiritual' person
What do I know of big big words
what do I know of philosophy or theories
I only know of simple things like these :
I live want to be happy wont hurt anyone don’t hurt me please !!!
We all own a beautiful world
lets not play the game of hit and miss!
lets spend our stay here living and giving.
And for this we don’t have to know more than this!!!
What is EVERY DAY SPIRITUALITY
When a butcher cuts the portions of meat and if he is good they say his effort is not short of meditation.
So spirituality in all its simplicity would be to present in the HERE and NOW.
And do whatever you have to do with concentration and honesty.
Let big words and even bigger analogies not convert you into gullible seekers of the higher truth!
keep smiling be honest and CREATE CREATE CREATE
an idea or poetry or a painting or a new way of looking at the whole thing !!!
And pull up your spirituality quotient!!
CREATIVE SPIRITUALITY !!!
Can we be creative in spirituality?
Can we be spiritually creative?
Can creativity be called as spirituality?
Can spirituality be seen as a creative activity?
Do we have to be religious to be called spiritual?
Is religion the same as spirituality?
What after all is spirituality?
These are a few questions my questions and I am sure these are your questions as well!
To answer these questions we have to understand the terms involved!
Wikipedia defines these terms as:
Spiritual matters are thus those matters regarding humankind's ultimate nature and purpose, not only as material biological organisms, but as beings with a unique relationship to that which is perceived to be beyond both time and the material world.
Creativity (or "creativeness") is a mental process involving the generation of new ideas or concepts, or new associations of the creative mind between existing ideas or concepts.
A religion is a set of beliefs and practices, often centered upon specific supernatural and moral claims about reality, the cosmos, and human nature, and often codified as prayer, ritual etc.
So under the skin it is all the same!!! Or is it?
My take is you HAVE to be CREATIVE in order to be TRULY SPIRITUAL and vice versa!
WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE NOW!!!
Do we need to renounce the material world?
(A question often asked by people nearing the end of life as they perceive it! and a question that is often scorned at....by those who are young and who feel that they still have a lot to live for!)
My take would be:
DONT EVER RENOUNCE THE WORLD KEEP YOUR LUST FOR LIFE INTACT !
But PLEASE RENOUNCE THE FIXATION WITH THIS THING CALLED MATERIALISM!!!
