ps3 nat type 2 still cant find games in cod modern warfare 2?
I have always had problems with my ps3 and playing online for some reason. i just recently was able to get it to give me a nat type 2. but when i try and play call of duty modern warefare 2 i still cannot get into a game. at the top it says 24 potential games, but the above that it always says 0/24 good games.
what else could i be missing here?
My Uncle has the same problem you are having... try running a test to see how many packets your are losing... a good site for this is pingtest.net. Port forwarding will also help yes, the ports are:
TCP: 80 443 5223 10070-10080
UDP: 3478, 3479 3658 10070
So far doing those has helped, but the only solve to the issue is when i brought over my modem and hardlined into the ps3... bypassing his gateway altogether. just some food for thought:D
